Second grader, Michael
Williams ponders this question: "but I'm just a kid .
. . what can one kid do to make a difference?"
After serious
consideration, he comes up with some ideas. Turn off
the lights when you leave the room
Remind your parents,
when they forget their canvas shopping bags
Bring your reusable
lunch bag at school and get your friends to do it
too!
Help take out the
recycling
Use a reusable water
bottle instead of disposable plastic
Grow some of your own
food - my favorite is strawberries!
Carpool with a buddy
Or if you live close
enough, walk or ride your bike to school
Or roll to school...
Or even pogo to school!
Using a renewable energy source - kid power!
One kid can make all the
difference in the world!
