The 4000+ students in Lafayette have the longest
time horizon to live sustainably and will be the
most impacted by climate change and global warming.
We have a special opportunity, as a community, to
teach and show them how to have a sustainable
relationship with the environment that they can
carry throughout their lives.
We have begun collecting informative and
inspiring success stories shared
by students, teachers, school administrators, and
scout leaders about how they've helped make their
school and community more sustainable. Read the first
stories.
Join the Sustainable Lafayette Network and begin receiving a monthly newsletter with tips and success stories from around town. If you've already taken some steps to make your school more green, please consider sharing your story so other local schools can learn and be inspired by what you've done.
