SWITCH TO REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES – Disposable water bottles have become phenomenally popular, but they are phenomenally bad for the environment and our tap water is excellent. It takes oil to make the plastic in all those bottles and more oil to transport it, and that means greenhouse gases. The pollution is matched by the garbage produced. Fewer than 25% of plastic water bottles are recycled, leaving TWO BILLION POUNDS a year to clog landfills. There is now a wide array of attractive, reusable water bottles available.
