LEARN TO COMPOST YARD WASTE – Fall is a time with increased yard waste, especially leaves from trees, and thus a great time to learn to compost. The contents of our green waste bins have to be trucked to a distant compost facility for processing and then trucked to farms in the Central Valley, which uses a lot of energy compared to composting in your own yard.
