Lamorinda Green Drinks
Lamorinda Green Drinks is an informal opportunity for local businesses and residents that are interested in green practices and sustainability to socialize, network and learn from one another. We welcome anyone who is working to make their workplace or home more green, and who wants to share ideas about how to reduce our impact on the environment. Please spread the word to your friends and business associates.
Lamorinda Green Drinks events are organized by Sustainable Moraga and Sustainable Lafayette and held every other month at various business establishments in the Lamorinda area that support green practices. The first event was on March 17th, 2008 (St. Patrick's Day) at the Moraga Barn, which is one of our favorite places to host Green Drinks. The Moraga Barn, at 925 Country Club Drive, is a Platinum LEED certified building and the headquarters of Canyon Construction. Click here for directions.
Green Drinks events are held in over 300 cities around the World every month. These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity.
