Trashed, produced by a former school teacher, examines the causes and effects of the seemingly innocuous act of “taking out the garbage” and the disposal of what our society defines as “waste.” This is a very informative and eye-opening film for all ages. The Rheem Theater has closed, but the show will go on! The next Green Rheem Film Night will be on Tuesday, May 11th at the Orinda Theater and feature “WALL-E”. WALL-E, a great film for all ages, won best animated picture in 2008 and has won 45 other awards in the past two years.
