Green Screen Film Night

The next Green Screen Film Night will be on Tuesday, August 10th at the Town Hall Theatre and feature the film “DEEP DOWN”. The movie producers will be there to introduce the film, which follows two friends in eastern Kentucky who find themselves at the center of a contentious battle over a proposed mountaintop removal coal mine. The next Green Screen Film Night will be on Wednesday, June 16th at the Town Hall Theatre and feature the film “Trashed”. Trashed, produced by a former school teacher, examines the causes and effects of the seemingly innocuous act of “taking out the garbage” and the disposal of what our society defines as “waste.” This is a very informative and eye-opening film for all ages. It has been featured at many film festivals across the country and received positive reviews since its release in 2007. Adults are $10 (online price) and students are just $5. Green Rheem Film Night

The Rheem Theater has closed, but the show will go on! The next Green Rheem Film Night will be on Tuesday, May 11th at the Orinda Theater and feature “WALL-E”. WALL-E, a great film for all ages, won best animated picture in 2008 and has won 45 other awards in the past two years. We are partnering with EarthTeam, an environmental network for teens, teachers, and youth leaders. Adults are $10 (online price) and students are just $5.
